OpenSearch


OpenSearch is a collection of technologies that allow publishing of search results in a format suitable for syndication and aggregation. It is a way for websites and search engines to publish search results in a standard and accessible format (wikipedia).

Most modern browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome etc. provide a powerful "Search Engine" utility, located at top-right corner of the browsers. This utility allows you to identify and incorporate your favourite Search Engines at your browser for quick access. Our OpenSearch facility enpowers you to conveniently incorporate this repository as a Search Engine at your browser.
