Abstract: Biopsy materials from breast and rectal tumour cases were studied for cytophotometric analysis of DNA ploidy levels. Aneuploid DNA patterns were observed in majority cases of late stage and poorly differentiated carcinomas. Increased aneuploidy was also observed in metastatic growths and post menopausal cases of breast cancers.
