Abstract: We report a rare case of dual infection in a psoas abscess. Pus from the abscess grew Salmonella typhi and the abscess wall showed epitheloid granulomas giant cells, which we confirmed as tuberculosis by PCR. Such dual infection cases may be missed unless looked for since both these infections are common in our country.
